My journey into the world of tablescaping began as a simple passion for creating beautiful and inviting spaces. What started as a hobby soon evolved into a deep appreciation for the artistry and craftsmanship behind each element on a table. As I began to explore different styles and techniques, I realized the immense potential for storytelling and expression through tablescape design.

Sri Lankan culture and heritage have played a significant role in shaping my approach to tablescaping. The island’s rich history and vibrant traditions have provided endless inspiration for my creations. However, my love for artisanal craftsmanship extends beyond Sri Lanka. Ever since I moved to Australia, I have been drawn to the unique and beautiful creations of Australian artisans, particularly their use of natural materials and sustainable practices.

By incorporating elements from Australian culture into my tablescapes, I aim to bridge the gap between two distinct regions and celebrate the diversity of global craftsmanship. From the rugged beauty of the Australian outback to the serene coastal landscapes, along with Sri Lanka’s diverse landscapes and rich history, there is a wealth of inspiration to be found in the natural beauty and cultural heritage in both countries.
